A bit about me.......
I come from a long line of make-do-and-mend matriarchs so knitting, sewing and making things have always been part of my background.
In 1993 I bought my first flat and decided to put my sewing skills to use, enrolling in evening classes, making curtains, blinds and cushions. I enjoyed it so much that once my flat was furnished I decided to formalise all that I had learnt by completing City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Soft Furnishings. I was soon taking orders from family and friends and in 2002 I gave up my job in the airline industry and began working full time as a self-employed soft furnisher in South London.
I now live in Truro with my husband, two sons and black labradors Esther & Lula. It's a lovely place to live and a great base from which to explore Cornwall's fabulous beaches and wonderful country walks.
